CEO ALTO ALAGÓN, CRA DEHESA DE TAMAMES Y CRA LOS CARRASCALES

Last week three schools visited us: CEO ALTO ALAGÓN, CRA DEHESA DE TAMAMES and CRA LOS CARRASCALES. They were 30 kids from villages around Salamanca and they came here to learn and enjoy about Roman time.We did many workshops. One of them was a gymkhana about this topic. They read text about Asterix and Obelix in the Galia, listened some histories about Romans,  looked for roman coins, built a Roman mosaic in the tablet, built  and created Roman skirts with newspapers, built structures and buildings with  tetrabriks....In short, we enjoyed and learnt about Romans in English a lot!!!!

CREATING ROMAN SKIRTS

One of the task was to create a roman skirt and take a picture after it.
Most of them were very fast and they got a clue to discover the character who stole the wreath.

WRITING ROMAN NUMERALS WITH THEIR BODIES

They get over the math class because they wrote 2015 with Roman numerals.

Very original!!! because they created 2016. I forgot we are in 2016!!! They are so clever!!!

GRETTING TO JULIUS CAESAR

The following videos are so funny!!! They had to create a video gretting to Julius Caesar. Some of the understood and some of them not so much... but they are very original!!!

 In the first one , you can only hear... Caesar! but the second one is the task!!!

I hope you enjoyed. Firstly, They dressed up as Roman. They found a box with fabric and they have to use their imagination.

CREATING MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES

Just to finish, lets see the pictures that they created. They had to draw a mythological creature. They only had crayons and papers.  The pictures are not very clear, but I promisse you, they were very original.
